Career Transition Consultant (Career Coach)


The Opportunity

Our Career Transition Consultants are the heart and soul of our business, delivering exceptional service to our wide range of clients. In this role, depending on your qualifications and areas of interest, you may:

  • Provide career, life and/or executive coaching on a 1-on-1 basis
  • Critique, write, design and format resumes and cover letters
  • Develop social media profiles
  • Perform portfolio reviews
  • Lead live, online webinars
  • Aid clients in designing and executing job search strategies
  • Conduct formal profile assessments (e.g. Myers-Briggs)
  • Assist clients with financial planning
  • Guide clients through job offer negotiations
  • Conduct career exploration research
  • Provide interview training
  • Keep detailed client records
  • Liaise with our company President and other staff on a regular basis
  • And more

*Please Note* Our Career Transition Consultants work as independent contractors on an as needed basis, and minimum hours per week are neither required nor guaranteed.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-years experience in career transition consulting
  • Completion of a nationally recognized coaching certification program
  • Exceptional English communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Home office, including personal computer, telephone line, and internet access
  • Superior skills in Microsoft Word, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Docs
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada as an independent contractor
